RU-5016: Certificate provider unavailable

The custom domain was recorded, but registering it with the certificate provider failed, so the page's `domain_status` is `error`. The domain is not serving and no certificate was requested.

On the wire

Ships with HTTP status 502, carrying "code": "RU-5016" in the response body alongside the human-readable error message. Existing fields are never replaced by the code: it is additive.

Common causes

  • A transient failure at the certificate provider.

How to fix it

  1. Send the same `customDomain` again: attaching the hostname already on the page retries the registration.
  2. Or detach the domain with `customDomain: null` and attach it again later.
