RU-5015: Custom domain conflict

The custom domain could not be attached: the hostname is already attached to another status page (yours or anyone's: a hostname belongs to one page at a time), or this page already serves a different custom domain. Nothing was changed.

On the wire

Ships with HTTP status 409, carrying "code": "RU-5015" in the response body alongside the human-readable error message. Existing fields are never replaced by the code: it is additive.

Common causes

  • The hostname is attached to another status page, possibly on another account.
  • The page already has a different custom domain and the request tried to replace it in one step.

How to fix it

  1. Detach the hostname from the page that holds it, or choose another hostname.
  2. To change a page's domain, send `customDomain: null` to detach the current one, then send the new hostname.

Ask support and mention RU-5015: the code pins down the exact refusal path, so you skip the diagnostic back-and-forth.
