RU-2008: Errors project allowance exhausted

The account already holds as many Errors projects as its plan includes, so a new one was not created and no ingest key was issued. Free includes 2 projects.

Ships with HTTP status 403, carrying "code": "RU-2008" in the response body alongside the human-readable error message. Existing fields are never replaced by the code: it is additive.

Common causes

  • Creating a project per environment instead of tagging events with an environment.
  • Automation creating a project on every run instead of reusing one.

How to fix it

  1. Reuse an existing project: list them with GET /errors/projects.
  2. Or move the Errors plan up for a higher project count.
