Refer a company: give $20, get $20

Share your referral link; when the referred account pays its first invoice, both accounts get $20 of credit.

1. Copy your link from Account settings > Referrals

Every account has one stable referral code; the link is realuptime.io/signup?ref=<code>. The Referrals page is owner-only, like billing, because the credit lands on the invoice.

2. The other company signs up through the link

An account created through the link is recorded as referred by you. There is nothing to enter at checkout and no code to remember later; the link at signup is the whole mechanism. A company that already has an account cannot be referred.

3. Credit is granted on their first paid invoice

When the referred account pays its first invoice of any amount, both accounts receive $20 of Stripe customer balance, applied automatically to each account's next invoice. It is credit, never a payout, and it does not expire. The free tier has no invoice, so nothing happens until someone pays.

4. What does not earn credit

Referring your own company; referring another account at your own email domain (colleagues at the same company, except on consumer mail providers like gmail.com); both accounts paying with the same card; and anything past 20 granted credits per referring account. Blocked referrals are recorded with the reason so support can explain them.
