Create your first monitor

From signup to a URL being checked from four regions, in about two minutes.

1. Add the URL you want checked

From the dashboard, choose Add monitor and paste the public URL. realuptime only probes public destinations: private and internal addresses are refused (error RU-3002); for hosts inside a private network, use the monitor agent instead.

2. Pick an interval and regions

Choose how often to check and which of the four probe regions (US-East, US-West, Europe, Asia-Pacific) should run it. Each region reports separately: that per-region truth is the point of the product.

3. Optionally add response assertions

On http checks you can assert on the response status range and body content, so a page that answers 200 with an error message still counts as down.

4. Watch the first results arrive

Within one interval each selected region posts its first reading. A region that has not reported yet shows as awaiting data, never silently green.
