How this comparison works
Sentry publishes named plans, each with an included monthly error volume and a lookback window, and meters everything past that quota with pay-as-you-go billing. The calculator picks the cheapest published plan whose included volume and lookback both cover the numbers you entered. It does not price the meter: the per-event rate is not a figure recorded here, and a made-up rate would be the most misleading number on the page.
RealUptime Errors picks the cheapest rung whose event allowance and retention window cover the same numbers. Its plan price is the ceiling rather than a starting point, so the comparison is a fixed monthly price against a plan price plus whatever the meter adds in the month something goes wrong.
Where these numbers come from
Sentry figures are the ones published at sentry.io/pricing/, verified September 2, 2026 and recorded on our Sentry comparison page. Enterprise is priced by quote, so it has no number here. Pricing pages change; if a figure looks out of date, treat their own page as current. RealUptime numbers come from the module that enforces our quotas, so the allowance shown is the allowance the product actually applies.
