1. Create the key and find the team id
Linear > Settings > API > Personal API keys. The team id is on the team's settings page (it is a uuid, not the short key like ENG). Add the connection with tracker Linear, the team id, and the key; the base URL stays empty.
2. Test, then file
Test connection queries the team and reports its name and key. Tickets are created in that team with the title and the measured description. Linear labels are referenced by id rather than name, so default labels are not applied there; every ticket still links back to the issue or incident.
